🌎 Road Trip USA 2025 – our big adventure 🚐✨

💬 The trip of a lifetime?
It started with… excess baggage and a suitcase bought in mild airport panic at Kraków Airport 😅💼
Yes, exactly like that.
Before the plane even left the ground, we were already having our first adventure.
The airport staff member, with that calm only airport people seem to have, announced:
“You’re four kilos over the limit.
It’s either 1700 PLN extra… or you buy another suitcase.”
Two seconds of decision-making, five minutes of frantic repacking,
and ten people watching us play real-life Tetris with a brand-new suitcase right in the middle of the airport 😅
In the end, we moved on — with an extra carry-on, very wide smiles, and the feeling that this was only the beginning of the adventure 😄
And if that’s what the start looked like, the rest could only get more interesting.
It was meant to be a bold 50th birthday gift 🎁🎉
The idea showed up about eight months earlier. One sentence was enough:
– What if we… did a road trip across the USA?
– Yes!
And just like that, we knew there was no turning back. The dream kept growing, the map slowly filled with pins, and in our heads a plan was forming — one that sounded suspiciously like a movie about freedom.
We managed to book the campgrounds — although at times it felt like a full-on battle for a spot 😅
But more on that later! 😏
✈️ Flying halfway across the world

Kraków → Munich → Chicago → Denver ✈️
Of course, we missed our connection in Chicago.
Because how else would our American movie begin? 🎬
One hour for everything, immigration ahead of us and hundreds of people in line.
There was no time for a burger — just a quick refill… with water 💧💨 and a full sprint toward the next gate.
And then Denver.
And suddenly, nothing else mattered.
The moon above the airport, the scent of dry prairie air, and one very clear feeling: this is the moment. Here and now.
Our American adventure has just begun.
🚐 Our home on wheels – Cruise America C25

We rented a Cruise America C25 RV — a true classic among campers and exactly what we were looking for on our USA road trip 🚐
We didn’t want a massive bus or a tiny box on wheels, so the C25 turned out to be the perfect middle ground. Comfortable enough to feel at home, yet still easy to handle on the road.
Inside, we had everything that truly matters: a full kitchen 🍳, a bathroom 🚿, a comfortable bed 🛏️ and our own set of dishes. Within just a few hours, the space felt like home.
The kind of home that smells like fresh coffee in the morning ☕ and desert dust with sunset light in the evening 🌄.
And that’s exactly why the first morning tasted different.
Sunlight poured through the window, coffee steamed on the table, and we sat there in silence with one simple thought: this is actually happening.
Because even though it was “just” an RV, in reality it became our hotel, our panoramic terrace, and the kitchen with the best view in the United States 😎✨✨
⭐ Where did we book our RV — and why there?
If you’re planning a USA road trip by RV, we can wholeheartedly recommend booking through Kasia — a Polish Cruise America broker 🇵🇱🇺🇸
Why was it a perfect choice? 🎯
✔️ communication in Polish (no stress, no misunderstandings)
✔️ support from the day of booking until the RV return
✔️ help choosing the right model and dates
✔️ assistance during the trip if anything happens
✔️ and… that priceless peace of mind you truly need on a USA road trip
For us, it was a huge relief — instead of digging through regulations and tiny American fine print, we could focus on what really mattered: the road, the views, and the adventure 🚐💛
🌄 4,419 kilometers across 5 states
Colorado • Utah • Arizona • Nevada • California 🇺🇸
We left Denver heading west — toward canyons, deserts and national parks.
Moab and Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce, Zion, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Death Valley, Sequoia… all the way to San Francisco 🌊
The roads seemed endless, and every new turn brought another “wow.”

🚐 Life between coffee stops and fuel refills
Border crossed!
You can’t leave Arizona without a sun-kissed glow, sand in your shoes, and a million photos 📸
And somewhere between the morning coffee ☕ and the next fuel stop, our travel rhythm began to take shape.
Not because we had to slow down — but because we wanted to.
Slow. Intentional. No unnecessary pressure.
Because America really is different.
On one hand, everything is bigger — the space, the silence, the cars 🚙 — and on the other, the pace can be surprisingly calm.
While in Europe we rush from one point to the next, there you can stand for five minutes with a coffee in your hand and simply stare ahead. And the best part? No one considers it a waste of time.
That’s why we remember that month as a world in slow motion.
Not spectacular. Not exaggerated.
Just exactly the way it was meant to be ✨
