We needed just one sip of coffee to fall in love \u2615\ufe0f\ud83d\udc9b  <\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n<h3 id=\"%f0%9f%8c%80-goosenecks-utah-the-san-juan-river-that-never-takes-shortcuts-%f0%9f%8c%8a%f0%9f%98%8e\" class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">\ud83c\udf00 Goosenecks, Utah \u2013 the San Juan River that never takes shortcuts \ud83c\udf0a\ud83d\ude0e<\/h3>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:28% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><video controls src=\"https:\/\/www.travelwithtime.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Goosneck.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-02beaadeb04f4be9b5f8c07469783eea wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf00 Goosenecks look like the work of someone obsessed with perfect curves.<br\/>Here, the San Juan River bends into near horseshoes, because the rock was simply too stubborn to let it take a shortcut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-33b3065225fe2ec691cbb5c6f9d53564 wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udccf From the viewpoint to the river, it\u2019s over 300 meters straight down.<br\/>That\u2019s why everything looks like a miniature set. Your brain says \u201cbeautiful,\u201d your knees say \u201ceasy now.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a8afe68f45a7ed37ed20be263aca469d wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83e\udea8 Those horizontal lines in the rock aren\u2019t decoration.<br\/>They\u2019re ancient seas, deserts, and layers of mud from hundreds of millions of years ago. In short: the world\u2019s archive \u2014 just without the labels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-39005648a0c91312d3aaea4f7b185990 wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udf0a The San Juan flows slowly, but it never gives up.<br\/>It didn\u2019t win with force. It won with patience. And it never was.<br\/>Monument Valley belongs to the Navajo Nation. The entrance fee doesn\u2019t go to the federal government or the National Park Service \u2014 it stays with the people who live here. They set the rules. You\u2019re a guest here, not the owner of the view.   <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-43a9e65908b3456215445c5afc8df274 wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83c\udfac The Wild West you picture in your head most likely begins right here.<br\/>John Ford shot nine Westerns in Monument Valley, and the rest of Hollywood followed his lead. One place launched an entire genre \u2014 and it\u2019s still landing the lead role without an audition.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f37711baa9e5e3e9f025dda4d6c3f3c2 wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udee3\ufe0f Forrest Gump Point isn\u2019t an official attraction.<br\/>It\u2019s just a stretch of road \u2014 U.S. Highway 163.
