You drive into the park, and for a moment, nothing hints at what\u2019s about to unfold.Road, trees, a curve, a parking lot \u2014 just everyday American scenery.<\/p>\n\n

And then you take a few steps toward the edge.<\/p>\n\n

And suddenly, the ground just ends.<\/p>\n\n

A whole day on the edge \u2014 16 kilometers of walking<\/strong>, no cutting corners, and no pretending it\u2019s \u201cjust a stroll\u201d \ud83d\ude05The view shifted slowly, the light did its magic, our legs reminded us more and more that they exist, and we just kept going<\/strong> \u2014 because that\u2019s exactly why we came.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And when the sunset <\/strong>\ud83c\udf05 finally arrived at the end, everything just clicked.That the whole experience <\/strong>\u2014 tired, calm, and without fireworks \u2014 is what sticks in your mind the most, far more than any single viewpoint.<\/p>\n<\/div>
