These were our first days in Dahab. No plan, no pressure, and — very importantly — no alarm clock.
After a long journey, our bodies finally relaxed, and our minds stopped overanalyzing everything at once 😄
We weren’t looking for attractions. We were looking for peace.
And Dahab gave it to us first underwater, and then high above, even before the sun had fully woken up.

🐠 Coral reef — reset, deluxe edition
Mask, snorkel, a few gentle strokes, and suddenly… click.
The world above the water ceases to exist.
Colors as if someone cranked up the saturation.
Fish swim right beside you, completely unconcerned that someone is trying to keep up with their breath. Silence that clears your head faster than the best meditation.
You don’t have to do anything… You don’t have to achieve anything…
Just drift and watch.
💬 Okay, I could stay here.
And that was exactly what we needed most at the start of Egypt — calm, awe, and that strange lightness when time suddenly stops mattering.

The coral reefs in Dahab are one of the greatest treasures of the Red Sea — warm water, excellent visibility, and an abundance of life make even a simple snorkeling session feel like stepping into a completely different world.
🔎 Coral reef in Dahab – a few facts that deliver a “wow”
🐠 This isn’t an aquarium.
The fish in Dahab aren’t “tamed” — they’re just living their own lives. You’re just a guest drifting by for a moment.
🌊 Visibility makes all the difference.
In the Red Sea, underwater visibility can reach up to 30 meters. That’s why the colors are so intense, and every movement is crystal clear.
🎨 Corals are living organisms.
They’re not rocks. They’re living creatures that grow very slowly — sometimes just a few millimeters a year. One careless kick of a fin and… that damage lasts for years.
🐟 Every fish has its own character.
Some are curious and swim really close, others disappear faster than you can spot them. Some look straight out of a fairytale, and some have a “what are you doing here?” expression.
🤿 Snorkeling in Dahab is for everyone.
No tanks, no courses, no top fitness required. Just a mask, a snorkel, and a bit of calm — the rest happens on its own.
💙 Underwater, everything slows down.
Breathing. Movements. Thoughts.
And suddenly, it turns out to be the best reset you can give yourself.
🎥 Underwater, there’s no rush.
There’s breathing, light, and a whole world happening just a few meters below the surface.
Mask on your face, head underwater, and suddenly you forget why you even need to go back up.
Colors turned all the way up, fish doing their thing, and everything slows down exactly when it should.
💬 Just a little longer… okay, one more fish.
💬 And this one too.
💬 Alright… I’m swimming now.

🎥 Swimming among bubbles, vacation level 🤿
Underwater, everything suddenly feels light, soft, and it doesn’t matter who’s going where or why.
There’s only movement, light, and that moment when you forget you even have to return to the surface.
💬 Just a little longer… I still have air to spare 😄
Underwater, we learned to slow down… Breathe more calmly… Look more closely…
Dahab gave us exactly what we needed: calm and awe, with no rush.
But knowing us… we didn’t stay in one place for long 😄
The next chapter starts very early.
In the dark, with a headlamp, and the sunrise over Mount Moses in the background 🌅
